Come and join a new club that combines nature, art and volunteerism.  Art in the Community Club has replaced our past Art Club.  If you are interested in this new club; meet in room 127 during activity period. Be ready to sign up for volunteer hours at Glen Valley Farm.  These hours will be available during our meetings only or see Mrs. Hyde for more info. Also... We need to market this new club through TV9 and in the hallways...see Mrs. Hyde if you are interested in creating a recruiting video showcasing our new club!

Our door painting project has just been approved! Please enter door number 9 and meet in room 129 to get your painting instructions by 8am so that we are finished by noon. I talked with our head custodian and he said painting is fine as long as it is on the side panels of the doors and not on the functioning part of the door.  The paintings could interfere a persons ability to see and could cause accidents.  (Didn't think about that).  There is still plenty of room to paint-hopefully everyone is ready to go for this project!  (7 doors per person) See you Saturday, Mrs. Hyde

Our 1st annual Oshkosh North High School Art Memorial Scholarship is now available!  Apply now for $500 towards your 4 year or technical college education. http://www.foxriverscholarshipcenter.org/finder/search/scholarship/?id=444 About our Memorial Art Scholarship: This scholarship has been dedicated to the memory of two men who were very special to ONHS Art teachers Mary Yang and Christina Hyde. Both of these men recently passed in 2015. David Dix was the father of ONHS Art Teacher Christina Hyde. David was diagnoised with a terminal brain tumor in November 2014 and passed away on April 29th 2015 at the age of 68. David always supported the Arts and was eager to drive 2 1/2 hours to help with the annual Raku firings at Oshkosh North High School. Art club has been given the opportunity to participate in a community orchestra event by providing the masks for the wolf, duck, bird and cat for a Peter and the Wolf performance.  ONHS drama students will be performing and will need their masks by the middle of February for rehearsals. If you are interesting in participating; meet in room 129 during 4A or 5th hour to work on them any day of the week.  See Mrs. Hyde for a pass if you are interested.
